Continental Hockey League’s 2011/12 season’s „All-Star Game” took place in Riga on 21st and on 22nd of January in multifunctional sports and cultural hall Arena Riga.
This was already the 4th „All-Star Game” and the 2nd one which took place out of Russia.
During „All-Star Game” period FBO RIGA successfully handled all Continental Hockey Leagues’ management and player business flights.

Counting from the beginning of 2011, the 1000th permission on behalf of our Russian customers was obtained by FCG (Flight Consulting Group) in the middle of September.

LBAS GmbH – Celebrating one year of maintenances excellence in Riga, Latvia |

In 2010, Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services GmbH (LBAS), Berlin based leading specialist in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of Bombardier Business Aircraft, set up a new line maintenance station in Riga.
Now, LBAS looks back to a successful first year of operation. Throughout the past year, an increasing number of aircraft have been serviced and maintained confirming the maintenance station’s great acceptance by the customers.
Furthermore, the approval has been extended for the Challenger 850 aircraft as well as for Cayman Islands and Bermuda registered aircraft. Thus, a greater number of operators are able to use the services provided by LBAS.
Together with its local partner Baltic Business Aviation Center Ltd. (BBAC) & FBO RIGA, LBAS is now able to offer “Home Base” support for Bombardier VIP Jet aircraft. Operators who wish to base their aircraft in Riga to support its flight operations in and out of the Baltic States and CIS can receive full line maintenance, hangar space and FBO services as a package. Thus, enabling operators to benefit from lower costs and fees for aircraft services compared to other major cities in the CIS area. |

Aircraft delivery to Indonesia |

Thanks to all our FCG (Flight Consulting Group) team members, one of our respectful customer’s aircraft delivery to the new operator in Indonesia went successfully. The flight was planned for the 17 AUG 11, planned departure time 05:45. The aircraft took off from LHBP airport at 05:36, made a stop for re-fuelling at Delhi at 11:56 UTC and departed to new home base at 13:24 UTC with the actual arrival to WIII at 19:52 UTC.
